Olaa Tips

A tip jar for your link in bio.

Fans already tap your link. Now they can tip you there: once or every month, with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. The money goes to your bank every Monday.

  3. 03

    Turn on Support

Pick how the button looks, the amounts it suggests and a line for your fans. It shows on your page straight away.

What you keep.

Olaa keeps 10% of each tip, and the card company’s fee (2.9% + 30¢) comes out with it. No setup fee, no monthly fee, on the free plan too.

Fans can tick Cover the fees to add them on top. Then you get the whole tip.

A button that fits your page.

The Support button takes your page’s colors and shapes. Choose where it sits:

  • A bold button

Up top, where nobody misses it.

  • One of your links

In the list, like everything else.

  • A card

Framed, with a line for your fans.

  • Floating

Stays at the bottom as fans scroll.

Payments by Stripe. Card details never touch Olaa.

Stripe runs the payments for millions of businesses. It checks who you are once, keeps your bank details, and pays you out. Fans pay in a secure sheet on your page and never make an account.

Tips, answered.

How much does Olaa take from a tip?

10% of the tip plus the card fee (2.9% + 30¢), and nothing else: no setup fee, no monthly fee. On a $10 tip you keep $8.41. Fans can tick “Cover the fees” to add that on top, and then you get the whole tip.

Do I need a Stripe account?

No. You fill in a short form from Stripe right inside your Olaa dashboard: your name, a few details to confirm it’s you, and your bank. It takes about five minutes. Stripe keeps the money safe and pays it out.

When do I get paid?

Every Monday, straight to your bank. A tip is paid out once it’s seven days old, which leaves time for a card payment to settle.

How do fans pay?

With Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, in a sheet that opens on your page. They don’t need an account, and they get a receipt by email.

Can fans tip every month?

Yes. Monthly is the first choice in the sheet, and fans can stop any time from the link in their receipt. You can also turn monthly tips off and take one-time tips only.

How much can a fan tip?

From $2 to $100 at a time. You choose the three amounts the button suggests, and fans can type their own.

Do I need Pro?

No. Tips are on every plan, the free one included, at the same 10% plus the card fee.

Which countries can I get paid in?

The US, Canada, the UK, every country in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Tips are in US dollars, and your bank converts them if your account is in another currency.

How do I start?

Create your page, then open Tips in your dashboard. We’re opening tips to creators a few at a time, so you ask for access there, and we email you when you’re in.

What happens if a tip is refunded?

The fan gets their money back, and what you received for that tip is taken back from your Stripe balance. If a fan disputes a tip with their bank, the same happens while the bank decides.

Your fans want to help. Make it one tap.
