Linktree Alternatives: Free Link-in-Bio Tools Compared
Linktree alternatives compared: free plans, starting prices, seller fees and best uses for Beacons, Stan Store, Later and Olaa, as of October 2026.
· 8 min read

Linktree is the default link-in-bio tool, and for many people it works fine. But it is not always the cheapest or the best fit, especially if you sell, run a shop, play music or post heavily on Instagram.
This guide compares five link in bio tools: Linktree, Beacons, Stan Store, Later's Link in Bio and Olaa (which is us). We cover free plans, starting prices, seller fees and what each one is genuinely good at. All prices and fees are as of October 2026. These companies change their plans often, so check each site before you pay for anything.
What to look for in a Linktree alternative
Most websites like Linktree do the same basic job. The differences are in the free plan, seller fees (which can matter more than the monthly price), how media plays, email collection, and how far back analytics go.
Linktree
Linktree has four plans: Free, Starter, Pro and Premium. In the US, its pricing page lists Starter at $8 a month ($6 billed yearly), Pro at $15 ($12) and Premium at $35 ($30). Prices vary by region, so check the page for yours.
The free plan includes unlimited links, core appearance options, email and phone sign-ups, and 28 days of analytics. The Linktree logo stays on free pages. Pro removes it, adds mailing-list integrations like Mailchimp, and keeps a year of analytics.
For sellers, look at fees as well as the monthly price. Linktree's help center says selling on Pro carries 0% Linktree fees, with Stripe's processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 in the US) on every plan. Some third-party reviews quote higher fees on the lower tiers, but Linktree's own pages don't confirm them, so check before you build a shop there.
Best for: people who want the most familiar name, a huge set of integrations and a page their audience already recognizes. If you are wondering what the free plan really covers, we wrote a separate guide: is Linktree free?
Beacons
Beacons is built around creators who sell and pitch brands. According to its help center, there are four plans:
- Free: $0, unlimited links, a media kit, a store, 50 email sends a month, and up to 5 link-in-bio pages.
- Creator: $10 a month or $100 a year, 500 email sends a month.
- Creator Plus: $30 a month or $300 a year, unlimited email sends.
- Creator Max: $90 a month or $900 a year.
Beacons charges a 9% transaction fee on store sales on the Free and Creator plans. Creator Plus and Creator Max have no Beacons fee. Stripe and PayPal still charge their own processing fees.
Best for: creators who work with brands. The built-in media kit is the standout, and having email, a store and a link page in one place is useful if you want a single dashboard.
Linktree vs Beacons
The short version: Linktree is the simpler link page with the bigger ecosystem. Beacons leans harder into selling, email and brand deals, and its free plan includes a media kit and email sends. Beacons takes a cut of sales on its lower tiers, and Linktree on some tiers by third-party accounts, so if you sell regularly, compare the fee on the plan you would actually use, not just the monthly price.
Stan Store
Stan Store is a storefront first and a link page second. There is no free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial, then:
- Creator: $29 a month, or $300 a year.
- Creator Pro: $99 a month, or $948 a year.
Stan charges 0% transaction fees on both plans. You pay the standard Stripe or PayPal processing fee. Creator includes a storefront, calendar booking, an unlimited course builder, recurring subscriptions, lead magnets and email collection, and AutoDM for Instagram. Creator Pro adds discount codes, upsells and order bumps, affiliate management, email broadcasts and flows, and pixel tracking.
Best for: coaches and creators whose main goal is selling courses, coaching calls and digital downloads. It costs more up front, but there is no percentage taken from each sale.
Later's Link in Bio
Later is a social media scheduling tool, and Link in Bio is part of it rather than a separate product. Later's pricing page lists three plans, Starter, Growth and Scale, starting at $18.75 a month billed yearly, each with a 14-day free trial. We could not find a free plan on the current pricing page.
Every plan includes unlimited buttons, featured media, page views by location, and Linked Posts, which lets you attach up to 5 links to Instagram feed posts and 1 link to TikTok posts. Link in Bio analytics go back up to a year on Starter and Growth, and up to two years on Scale.
Best for: brands that post heavily on Instagram and already want a scheduler. Linked Posts turns your feed into a shoppable grid, which a plain link list cannot do. If you only need a link page, it is a lot to pay for.
Olaa
Olaa is our tool, so weigh this section with that in mind.
The free plan includes unlimited links, music and video players that play on the page (YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music and TikTok), social icons, ready-made looks, featured cards, website previews and 7-day analytics.
Pro is $8 a month or $72 a year. It adds grid and carousel collections, photo galleries, countdowns, email signup and contact forms with Mailchimp sync, scheduled links, a redirect option, 30 and 90-day analytics, and removes the Olaa badge.
You can sell with Stripe payment links on Pro: make a link in your own Stripe account, add it with its price, and checkout happens on Stripe. Payments go straight to you, and Olaa takes no cut.
What Olaa does not have: a media kit, a course builder, booking, or a social post scheduler. If you need those, Beacons, Stan or Later will serve you better.
Best for: musicians, small shops and local businesses that want media, photos and email signup on a clean page without paying for a full creator store.

Best Linktree alternative by type
There is no single best tool. Here is how we would choose.
Musicians
Look for players that work on the page itself. Olaa plays Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube on the free plan, and Pro adds countdowns for a release and an email signup for your list.
Small shops
A shop needs good photos, a clear way to buy and a way to stay in touch. Olaa's galleries, collections and payment links cover a small catalog. If most of your sales start from Instagram posts, Later's Linked Posts is worth a look. For a larger catalog, a real online store linked from your bio is still the better answer.
Cafes and studios
Cafes, salons and studios mostly need hours, a menu or booking link, a map, photos and a contact form. Olaa handles this well with featured cards, galleries and a contact form on Pro. Linktree's free plan also works if you only need a list of links.
Coaches and creators selling digital products
Fees matter most here. Stan Store charges no platform fee and includes courses, booking and email. Beacons drops its fee to 0% from Creator Plus and adds a media kit for brand deals. Linktree lists 0% Linktree fees on Pro. Do the math on your expected monthly sales before choosing: a 9% or 12% cut can cost more than a higher monthly price.

Picking one
Start with what your page needs to do. For a list of links, almost any free plan works. If you sell, compare fees. If you share music, video or photos, look at how the page shows them. Most of these tools have a free plan or trial, so try two before you commit.

FAQ
What are the best free Linktree alternatives?
Among the tools here, Beacons and Olaa both have free plans with unlimited links. Beacons' free plan includes a media kit and a store with a 9% fee. Olaa's free plan includes on-page music and video players, social icons and featured cards. Stan Store and Later offer trials, not free plans.
Which Linktree alternative has no transaction fees?
Stan Store charges 0% transaction fees on both of its plans. Beacons has no fee on Creator Plus and Creator Max. Linktree lists 0% Linktree fees on Pro. Payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal still charge their own fees on every tool.
Is Beacons better than Linktree?
It depends on what you do. Beacons is stronger for creators who sell and pitch brands, thanks to its media kit and built-in email. Linktree is simpler and more widely recognized. Compare the plan you would actually use, including fees.
Can I switch from Linktree without losing followers?
Yes. Build your new page, check every link, then swap the URL in your bio. Keeping the old page up for a while, with its top link pointing to the new one, catches anyone using an old link.
