Beacons is a link in bio tool that has grown into a full creator platform: one page for your links, plus a store, a media kit for brand deals, email marketing and an AI assistant called Beam. The link in bio itself is free, but selling on the Free plan costs a 9% seller fee on every sale, and removing that fee takes the $30 a month Creator Plus plan.

Here is what you get today, what it costs, how to set it up and put it in your bio, and when another tool fits better.

What Beacons is today

Beacons calls itself an all-in-one creator platform and says more than 10 million creators use it. The link in bio page is still the center of it, but the same account now covers:

  • Store: sell digital products, courses and memberships from your page.
  • Media kit: a kit that updates daily, for pitching brands.
  • Email marketing: collect signups on your page and send newsletters and automated sequences.
  • Smart Reply: automated Instagram DMs.
  • Website builder: a separate site with its own pages, on top of the link in bio.
  • Beam: an AI teammate that writes link headlines, emails and outreach messages and answers questions about your analytics, limited by daily AI credits on lower plans.

If all you want is a list of links, most of this sits unused. If you sell, pitch brands and email your audience, Beacons tries to replace several separate tools with one login.

Every plan gets a customizable link in bio. Inside a Links block, each link has its own controls:

ControlWhat it does
Animate (star icon)Makes one link move to draw the eye
Schedule (calendar icon)Shows or hides a link at a set date and time
Countdown (timer icon)Adds a countdown timer to the link
Discount code (price tag icon)Attaches a discount code to the link
AnalyticsCounts clicks on each link

You can also turn any link into a featured link, shown as a large 16:9 image card. Link Redirect, which sends every visitor straight to one link for a date range you set, is marked as a paid feature in Beacons' help center, and only one redirect can run at a time.

Beyond links, you can add blocks for music, video, tour dates, email and SMS signups, follower counts, a store and your media kit.

Beacons plans, prices and seller fees

These are the prices on Beacons' pricing page, read in October 2026:

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlySeller feeMain additions
Free$0$09%Link in bio, media kit, store, 50 email sends a month, Smart Reply
Creator$10$100 ($8.33/mo)9%Free custom domain, 500 email sends a month
Creator Plus$30$300 ($25/mo)0%Unlimited emails, courses with video hosting, memberships, Buy Now Pay Later, no Beacons logo
Creator Max$100$900 ($83.30/mo)0%Google Workspace, NFC card, white glove onboarding

Two things to know before you choose:

  • Prices are not consistent across Beacons' own pages. The pricing page lists Creator Max at $100 a month, while the help center's pricing article lists $90 a month (both say $900 a year). The pricing block on the Beacons homepage shows only Free and Creator Plus.
  • Processing fees come on top. Beacons' help center lists Stripe at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction and PayPal at 3.49% + a fixed fee, on every plan.

So on a $20 ebook sold through Stripe on the Free plan, Beacons takes $1.80 and Stripe takes $0.88. Once you sell a few hundred dollars a month, the 9% fee costs more than the $30 Creator Plus subscription. For the wider picture on pricing and delivering files, see how to sell digital products.

Set up your Beacons page

Beacons says setup takes under five minutes, and Beam walks you through the first version during sign up.

  1. Sign up at beacons.ai and choose your username. This becomes part of your page URL.
  2. Follow Beam's setup prompts to pick a look and add your first links.
  3. Go to My Page, click + Add Block, then choose Links to add more buttons.
  4. Click into a link to add an image, headline or description, or use the star, calendar or timer icons.
  5. Open the design settings to set your theme, fonts and colors for the whole page.
  6. Click the black SHARE button on your page (on mobile, tap Preview first, then SHARE) and copy your link. The same menu gives you a QR code and an Apple Wallet card.

If you later change your username, your URL and QR code change too, so update every bio where you pasted the old link.

Instagram (in the app; Instagram doesn't support this on computers):

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Tap Links, then Add external link, and paste your Beacons URL.
  4. Tap Done.

Instagram allows up to five links on a profile. To put your Beacons link first, tap Options under Links, then Reorder links. There's more detail in our guide to adding a link to your Instagram bio.

TikTok:

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Next to Links, tap Add and follow the steps.

TikTok's help center says you need at least 1,000 followers or a Verified Business Account to add a website link. Beacons' own help article only mentions the 1,000 follower rule. Our TikTok bio link guide covers what to do until then.

Who Beacons suits

Beacons fits creators who want selling, a media kit, email and Instagram auto-DMs in one account, and who will use enough of it to justify the subscription once sales grow. The free media kit and free email sends are real value if you pitch brands and are starting a list.

It fits less well if you mainly need a clean page of links and embeds, if you already sell through a shop like Shopify or Etsy, or if you sell steadily on the Free plan, where 9% of every sale goes to Beacons. Alternatives to Beacons

Linktree is the closest rival. Its Free plan has unlimited links, and paid plans run $6 a month (Starter), $12 (Pro) and $30 (Premium) when billed yearly, or $8, $15 and $35 month to month.

Olaa takes a different approach to selling. The free plan includes one page with unlimited links, every look and font, a theme pulled from one photo, music and video players that play on the page (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok), Calendly bookings and Google Forms that open on the page, a QR code and 7 days of analytics. Olaa Pro costs $8 a month or $72 a year and adds products with photo and price from Stripe, Etsy, Shopify or Gumroad. Checkout happens in your own shop and Olaa takes no cut. Pro also adds email signups sent to Mailchimp, scheduled links, 30 and 90 day analytics and up to 10 pages. If you want hosted downloads, courses and a media kit in the same tool, Beacons is built for that.

FAQ

Is Beacons free?

Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and includes the link in bio, media kit, store and 50 email sends a month. The catch is a 9% fee on every sale, plus Stripe or PayPal processing fees.

What does Beacons AI mean?

Beacons calls itself an AI-powered creator platform. The AI part is Beam, an assistant that writes link text, emails and brand outreach and explains your analytics. Free accounts get 30 AI credits a day, and Creator Plus gets unlimited credits.

How do I remove the 9% Beacons fee?

Upgrade to Creator Plus ($30 a month or $300 a year) or Creator Max. Both have 0% seller fees. The $10 Creator plan still charges 9%.

Can I remove the Beacons logo from my page?

Yes, on Creator Plus. Beacons lists logo removal from the link in bio and product pages as part of that plan.

Why can't I add my Beacons link on TikTok?

TikTok only allows a profile website link for accounts with at least 1,000 followers or a Verified Business Account. Until you qualify, you can put the link in your Instagram or YouTube profile and point people there.
